Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox survived off the stipend of a student, and worked part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox believed that her abilities aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other paths she could take. Lennox was a flute player in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band went to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her solo debut album Diva. This came out in 1992. The album received a lot of praise from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May 2019. This E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to an art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go...
