Anna Sergeyevna Kurnikova was a Russian tennis pro and American TV personality. Her appearance and celebrity status made her one of the best known tennis stars across the globe. Anna Kournikova is a Russian tennis player who at one time was named the most popular female player in the sport. She first made her appearance in professional tennis at the young age of 14 and was the youngest ever player to participate and win the Fed Cup for Russia. It was her first time into the U.S Open when she was just 15 years old, and aged 16 was able to make it all the way to the semi-finals in Wimbledon. Her professional career ended when she quit tennis because of pain in her back in the age of 21.
